The aim of this writing competition is to explore the creativity and talents of medicine students in writing and en courage them to nuture this talent. We believe ABUAD has been a place with alot of experiences and memories we hold on to.
Collection of entries: 26th January, 2017
Deadline: 7th March, 2017
Results will be announced March 13th, 2017.
First prize: 10,000 naira
Second Prize: 7000 naira
Third prize: 4000 naira
The nonfiction writing should be at most three (3) pages and at least two (2). The poetry should be 35 lines only.Font:Times new roman size: 12.
Entries should be sent to insideamsa@gmail.com . Proper arrangement of work counts. For the poetry writing proper use of poetry devices counts. Work must be an original work of the writer. Copied works will he disqualified. Name,department and level should be included on the writeups and body of the email. Contact details on the body of the email only.
The competition is strictly for Afe Babalola University medicine and surgery students only. All levels.
The judges for this competition are: the head of department English, other distinguished English lecturers, the Editorial team and Jamike Ekenna-Ebbie our senate president who is also a prolific writer and a blogger.
