Japan is an east Asian country located in the northwest Pacific Ocean that is known worldwide for its traditional arts, culture, food and entertainment. It is an advanced nation that has been able to mix its long-lasting ancient traditions with the western lifestyle giving the country a futuristic vibe without losing it’s rich and complex culture.     as a foodie this is enough reason to get me to visit. Japan boast of a delicious and nutritious cuisine ranging from sushi to udon, tempura, yakitori and yakiniku. The possibilities for mouth watering dishes are endless and enough to make you want to stay.

    Japan is made up of the best temples, parks and gardens that give a feeling of serenity and calmness. It has succeeded in mixing modern technology with its rich cultural heritage. Have a chance to experience the blooming of the sakura blossoms, the deer at nara and the amazing landscape like the mount Fuji and the Arashiyama bamboo forest. Places that will give you the feel of Japans rich history, culture and beauty.

    Japan hosts very popular and beautiful festivals which are called Matsuri in Japanese. These festivals are mostly popular in the summer but also take place all year round. The Nagasaki festival is the biggest lantern festival in japan and takes place every year during this festival thousands of colourful lanterns and lights adorn the city to celebrate the Chinese New Year. You can also visit the Yuki Matsuri which is one of the biggest ice and snow festival in the world and many more beautiful festivals that that celebrate the Japanese culture, traditions and beauty.

  1. The recreational centres:
    There are many recreational centres with a huge range of activities that cater to various needs and interests. These activities include sports, museums, gaming centres, themed parks. The centres are dedicated to entertaining and engaging guests during their stay.

  1. It’s a haven for anime lovers:
    Anime is now a worldwide sensation and is an industry that has made over 17 billion us dollars and it’s still growing. The Japanese animation has become a huge part of modern culture for various reasons such as great story lines, beautiful animations and relatable characters. If you love anime the best place to visit is Japan as it has several shops, museums, cafes and parks dedicated to the anime culture. Visit akihabara which is a centre for otaku culture, the Ghibli museum the famous animation studio, the one-piece tower and many more as an anime lover there are many places you can visit as the possibilities are endless.     Japanese people are gracious host and will sometimes go out of their way to help. This makes travelling easy the Japanese are polite, thoughtful and kind and will give a helping hand if you seem lost or stranded.

Japan is a beautiful country that is rich in culture history and entertainment. It is a country I would recommend visiting as you will enjoy every part of your trip.
