“Sheena Michaels?!! Is that you??” The yell came from behind her. Sheena turned shocked, she hadn’t answered to that surname in years. She saw an auburn haired lady, really tall and leggy, quite pretty too. “Sorry I don’t really recognize you” Sheena said. The lady rolled her eyes as she walked towards her. “Well you wouldn’t, I don’t wear braces anymore. It’s Alyssa. Alyssa Monroe. We used to be lab partners.” Suddenly Sheena recalled. ” Wow. You definitely look different. You look great! So nice to see you again” they hugged. ” Why the hell did you disappear like that from school? No contact or anything.” asked Alyssa. Sheena smiled and gave her standard answer. ” I had some medical issues that needed urgent care”. Alyssa was immediately sympathetic. ” Oh my gosh. I’m sorry about that. I hope you’re better now?” . ” yeah I am. Thanks for the concern.” Sheena replied. ” Not a problem. Give me your number and we’ll catch up later. I gotta run now” Alyssa said while reaching into her handbag for her phone. They exchanged numbers and then said their goodbyes. Sheena continued on her way to the bank… then she bumped into yet another friend. Or rather her old boyfriend. She didn’t need reminders for this one. She was hoping she would never bump into him again. He was one person that was never going to take that excuse. She said quite timidly ” Hello Cedric”. Then managed to look at him, he was looking right back at her with intense fury in his eyes…. to be continued….
